Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with transfers and mobility to ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse or charge nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document daily care activities and shift reports accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (Oklahoma state licensure).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
