Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with mobility and ambulation.
- Update patient records and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification (California State License required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
