Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including feeding and mobility support.
- Document patient care activities and medical information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medication as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the state of North Carolina required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help patients.
