Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and restorative exercises
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents
- Support residents' emotional well-being through companionship and activities
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care or geriatric experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
