Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in ICU/ED units during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Precept new nurses and participate in weekend-only quality improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly to rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (FL RN)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years ICU/ED experience with weekend shift tenure
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Demonstrated critical decision-making skills
- Spanish bilingualism highly desirable
