Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Administer medications under RN supervision per policy
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support residents with nutritional needs and meal assistance
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Current Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
