Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in assigned units (ER, Med-Surg, ICU)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Adhere to HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift handovers and case conferences
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois RN license (or eligible)
- BSN degree from accredited program
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Basic ECG interpretation skills
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
- Completion of clinical rotation in acute care setting
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to rotate shifts as needed
