Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and ambulation.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and updates in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare staff regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Florida CNA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen.
