Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking, transferring, and positioning.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and family members regarding patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
