The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our nursing team. Whether you are looking for full-time stability or part-time flexibility, we have openings that fit your lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Turn, reposition, and comfort bedridden patients to prevent bedsores and promote circulation.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary restrictions and assist with feeding as needed.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments or therapy sessions using wheelchairs or walkers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, ensuring all medical equipment is sanitized.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered California CNA License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or home health setting preferred but not mandatory for new graduates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Valid California State ID and proof of eligibility to work in the US.
