Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning to prevent bedsores
- Support patients with daily living activities and maintain hygiene standards
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Report changes in patient condition promptly to registered nurses
Qualifications
- Active Arizona CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate approach with geriatric patients
- Proficient in electronic health record systems
- Valid Arizona driver's license (for occasional errands)
