Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with patients' personal hygiene and grooming needs
- Monitor and record vital signs, noting any changes to clinical staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance as required
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish language skills a plus
