Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Patient Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Clinical Support: Prepare and administer medications as directed by RNs, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Emotional Support: Build rapport with patients and families, providing a comforting presence during challenging times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current, active State CNA license (Tennessee required).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
