Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist nurses with treatments, procedures, and medical equipment.
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in medical records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana State CNA Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
