Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident health to nursing staff
- Assist with meal service and ensure dietary requirements are met
- Document care activities accurately and maintain resident confidentiality
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
