Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure injuries
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to implement treatment plans
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
