Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure injuries
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders and state regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with night nursing staff to ensure seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication abilities
- Availability to work flexible nights including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation systems
