Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake/output, and resident conditions
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Respond to resident call bells and emergency situations promptly
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and incident reports
- Ensure resident safety through proper bed checks and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
