Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Implement and document individualized care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and directed by a licensed nurse.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA license in the State of Michigan.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients of all ages.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a positive attitude.
