Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms, and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Document patient care activities, intake/output, and observations accurately in medical records.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during the night shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment to prevent infections and ensure patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and provide high-quality care under pressure.
