Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians in a timely manner.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and react swiftly to emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the care team to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient care services, including symptoms, progress, and outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion in a high-volume setting.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
