Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and behavior.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation safely.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN or LPN.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members.
Qualifications
- Current state-issued Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate nature and commitment to patient privacy (HIPAA compliance).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends.
