Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Administer medications under proper supervision
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic health record systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
