Responsibilities
- Provide direct and compassionate care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent complications and ensure safety.
- Administer medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized environment to promote patient health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team, patients, and family members to provide updates on patient conditions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of New Mexico.
- Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced night shift environment.
- Valid state identification and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
