Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and patients.
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia CNA license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in long-term care or acute care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
