Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with emphasis on clinical excellence
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments and care plans using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to JCAHO and HIPAA compliance standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior staff through evidence-based practice protocols
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (required)
- BSN or higher preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications (maintained)
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Healthcare systems)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
