As a CNA on our night shift team, you will provide essential care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity while they rest.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare and serve meals according to strict dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Report any changes in resident behavior, mood, or physical condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for residents.
- Document care provided accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift and handle emergency situations calmly.
- Must be able to lift and move residents safely as required.
