Our facility is committed to providing top-tier patient care 24/7. As a CNA on the night shift, you will be the first line of defense for patient safety and comfort, working closely with a supportive nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration) and report any abnormalities to the Charge Nurse immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during the night shift.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the RN.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Nevada State CNA License.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic Arrhythmia (ARRT) is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
