Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately and timely.
  • Provide personal care and comfort measures to residents to ensure their dignity and well-being.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
  • Transport patients safely using wheelchairs or walkers as needed.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid California State CNA License.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
