Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
- Transport patients safely to and from treatment areas or procedures.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or ACLS is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is highly preferred.
