Responsibilities
- Perform virtual patient intakes, vitals, and medical history assessments using secure telehealth platforms.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient care via video and phone consultations.
- Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, and electronic health record (EHR) updates.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
- Provide medication education and follow-up instructions to patients remotely.
- Process insurance verifications and prior authorizations accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple software platforms.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace are required.
- Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.
- Willingness to complete remote onboarding and certification training.
