Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the RN or charge nurse immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during the night hours.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA License issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
