Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and hygiene.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, patients, and families regarding patient status.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Washington State CNA Certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification must be valid.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting patients as needed.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED required.
