Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record patient blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist with Mobility: Safely transfer and ambulate patients using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Administer Medications: Follow strict protocols to ensure timely and accurate medication administration under RN supervision.
- Document Care: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and shift reports.
- Communicate Effectively: Relay patient concerns and changes in condition to the nursing staff promptly.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of California.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
