Responsibilities
- Provide daily patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning of residents
- Support nursing staff with clinical tasks and inventory management
- Maintain a clean, safe patient environment following infection control protocols
- Build meaningful relationships with patients through compassionate communication
- Participate in shift handovers and team care conferences
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled populations
- No prior experience necessary – training provided!
- Must obtain Nevada CNA certification within 120 days of hire
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
