Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Turn, reposition, and position bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with medical procedures and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license upon employment (we can assist with resources).
- Strong compassion, empathy, and patience when interacting with patients.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
