Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident health changes
- Assist with meal preparation and dining services
- Administer medications under proper supervision
- Transport residents safely to appointments and activities
- Maintain clean and organized resident living spaces
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to elder care
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule
