Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Assist with feeding and mobility as required.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition accurately in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Currently enrolled in or successfully completed a state-approved CNA training program.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to obtain or hold a valid CNA certification.
- Basic physical stamina required to lift and assist patients.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
