Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and medical staff to coordinate care plans
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must obtain NYS CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Current BLS/CPR certification (provided if not held)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and health screening
