Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Assist with meal service and monitor nutritional intake
- Report patient changes and concerns to nursing staff
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and active listening
- Follow HIPAA and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - we provide all training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong communication skills and compassion for others
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Commitment to obtain CNA certification within 90 days
