Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to elderly and disabled clients
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to RNs
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare and serve meals while accommodating special dietary requirements
- Document care activities accurately in patient records
- Maintain clean, safe environments for patients and staff
- Transport clients to medical appointments when necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Virginia driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
- Willingness to complete paid CNA certification training
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
