Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Transport patients to medical appointments and activities
- Report patient changes to nursing staff
- Adhere to HIPAA and facility safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Current Kansas CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency
- Background check and drug screen required
- Must be 18+ years old
