Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Provide support during patient meals and ensure proper nutrition
- Transport patients safely within the facility using appropriate equipment
- Document patient observations and care provided accurately
- Assist nurses with medical procedures as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Must pass background check and drug screening
