Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and assisting with feeding
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and assist with laundry duties
- Document care activities accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
- Participate in team huddles and ongoing training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – we train you!
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for seniors
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Basic computer skills for documentation
