Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Provide mobility support and transfer assistance using proper techniques
- Document resident care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Participate in resident activities and social engagement programs
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must obtain Virginia CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Successful completion of our paid training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (provided if needed)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to resident care
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening required
