Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning patients
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Support emotional and social needs of residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of state-approved CNA training program (provided if needed)
- Current California CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and health screening
- Compassionate attitude and patience with elderly patients
