Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with meal service and ensure residents' nutritional needs are met
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations
- Support social and recreational activities to enhance residents' quality of life
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - we provide comprehensive training!
- Must obtain Tennessee CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Background check and drug screen required
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
