Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Take vital signs and document patient observations
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare staff
- Report patient changes to nursing supervisors
- Follow infection control protocols strictly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass criminal background check
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds (with assistance)
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
- Willingness to complete paid CNA training
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Valid Michigan driver's license (preferred)
- Must complete TB test and health screening
