Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean patient environments
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams to ensure patient comfort
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during care
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- No prior experience required - we provide comprehensive orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for patients
- Must pass background check and drug screening
