Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Transport residents safely between rooms and activities
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain clean and organized resident care areas
- Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Must pass state background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper techniques
- Valid Georgia driver's license preferred (not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
